Hesters Way Resource Centre

The centre is a resource for the areas of Hesters Way, Fiddlers Green, Springbank, Springfields, Arle Farm, St Marks and Rowanfield. Hesters Way Neighbourhood Project manages the Centre. A list of the services available is listed here:

Conference Rooms & Meeting Rooms

This is a large and versatile part of the centre that is able to provide space for meetings, conferences and other functions. Enquiries about the rooms, prices and availability to 01242 521319 or to yvonnemoon@hwnp.org.uk Car parking at the centre and in the neighbouring Oasis Youth Centre car park is free for those attending meetings. There is also a large pay and display car park at Coronation Square Shopping Centre which is across the road from Hesters Way Community Resource Centre (see the map on the left of this page).

Computer Room

There are 18 up to date computers in this room loaded with a variety of modern software. These computers enable local people and businesses to access a variety of learning and other opportunities using ICT. The suite is also available for hire for organisations to use for training, etc. Enquiries to Yvonne Moon on 01242 521319.

Interview Rooms

There are three small rooms near the reception area that are available at a reasonable cost to enable various agencies to conduct interviews, offer information, advice, guidance, support or counselling. Spa Credit Union Limited also operates from one of these rooms every Friday between 10am and 11am

Serviced Offices

Hesters Way Partnership, Connexions Gloucestershire, GDAS (Gloucestershire Drugs and Alcohol Service), Listening Post, Gloucestershire NHS Stop Smoking Service, People and Places in Gloucestershire, Berkeley Place Surgery Health Visitors, Yorkleigh Surgery Health Visitors Service and Six Ways Health Visitors occupy serviced offices on the first floor.

Doorstep Café

Doorstep Cafe is owned and run by local people providing a facility for anyone using the Resource Centre. It offers an informal meeting place where a cup of coffee or a full meal can be enjoyed. The cafe also provides catering for meetings, functions and conferences held in the Centre.

Puddles Nursery

Puddles nursery provides a purpose built childcare setting and a safe play area and garden for up to 31 childcare places and is open from 8am to 6pm.

Enterprise Units

There are units which house new local businesses and/or social enterprises, including The Cutting Shop, Rejuvenate, Berkeley, Six Ways, Corinthian and Yorkleigh District Nurses, and Cheltenham Chinese Centre.

Healthy Living Centre

The Healthy Living Centre provides a wide range of nurse led services to anyone living or working in the Hesters Way area and also provides practice nurse and GP services to patients of specific practices. The Centre offers disabled access to all treatment rooms. If you have a questions, phone 01242 548298 and one of the team will be happy to explain what is available!
