Springbank Community Resource Centre opened in October 2007 and is managed by Hesters Way Neighbourhood Project.
The centre has a large community hall which holds a range of regular weekly community events and is available for hire for one off or regular events, meeting and interview rooms for hire, and a purpose built youth centre which holds a youth club two evenings a week, A Cubs pack, a range of holiday activities, an 8 to 11 group and a mother and toddler group during term time. Free car parking is available.
The organisations based at Springbank Centre include The Springbank Surgery and Dental Surgery, CSPC Pharmacy, Giggles Nursery, Protocol Skills, Alzheimer's Society, New Horizons Children and Young Persons Community Nursing, Cheltenham School Nursing Team, Crescent Bakery, Underwood, Leckhampton, Royal Crescent and St Georges Surgeries Health Visitors, and National Autistic Society.
A community garden has been established at the rear of the centre with access from the community hall.
You can pick up a timetable of weekly events from the centre. These include coffee mornings, a sewing group, a craft group, Tai Chi, a Karate and Self Defence group, Line Dancing, a family drop-in, a twice weekly youth club, an 8 to 11 year old activities group, a cooking class, Playtime for Older People (POPPs) Project activities, Bingo, Active Lifestyles fitness group, a Cubs group, Break Dancing, Art groups, life coaching and advice sessions, a garden group, and indoor bowls.
